What the site name means

The name “Gonard” just popped into my head while I was watching an old Nickelodeon DVD. I chose the domain gonard.org because it was available, and because I’m not foolish enough to spend $1.8 million on a fancy domain name.

I created two backronyms for Gonard as a middle finger to two industries:

• Gonard orients new age roof decorations, to protest high pressure solar panel sales.
• Gonard optimizes North American road destroyers, to protest giant electric SUVs.
